But there's no doubt it will have contributed - and amplified the financial benefits of all the other factors like market demand, supply-side price increases, operational efficiency etc. It's long been known that while performance marketing drives revenue growth, it's brand marketing that drives profitability.Īs with any business, there are many factors that contributed to Airbnb becoming profitable.
